Nothing  screams “happy” quite like eggs, bacon and mimosas.  For the 4th time, 100% women-owned business High Spirits Events in partnership with Events at Judson Mills hosted their delectable, delicious, and joy-filled Bubbly Side Up! A Greenville brunch festival. This was one event I did NOT want to miss. A Brunch Festival surrounding eggs and bacon? Say less.

KEY reasons you wont want to miss next years event? Bottomless Mimosas, bottomless Bloody Marys, live music by groups like Kami Ocean & The Rhythm -who did an incredible job this year, Photo Booth opportunities, and allll you can eat brunch dishes created and designed by the best chefs in the area.

A few participating restaurants this year were Papi’s Tacos, Up on the Roof, and the Cook’s Station. For a full list of participants, check below. Worth noting, this is a kid free event as well. Bottomless Mimosas and kiddos don’t mix, so grab a sitter and plan ahead. Plus, who wants to share their eggs and bacon. Next year, be sure to grab VIP tickets to snag early admission, a champagne greet and access to a private espresso martini bar. Yum. (And more eggs and bacon… just sayin’.)

As for the food, I could describe how incredible the Italiano Strata with ciabatta, sausage, prosciutto, pasta and cheeses by Cook’s Station, or the Breakfast Mac & Cheese with cavatappi pasta, jalapeños, veggies, three cheeses and pulled slab bacon by Sunrise BBQ were, but I think seeing is believing in this case. It’s not just delicious food though, it’s dancing, networking, conversing, and competition as well. Each participating restaurant or food provider has their dish judged. They come prepared with their A-Game ready to win! Preparing food for 400+ people can be tough, but when there is a $1,000 cash prize on the table, a little more motivating to do things right.
