-Infinite Wellness Experience where you can detox and rejuvenate at the Gem Spa. Healing treatments inspired by ancient Mayan healing practices were too cool NOT to try. Especially when they have received four-star certifications from Forbes Travel Guide. Ultimate relaxation option.

A whopping 602 suites means there is plenty of room for everyone. Whether you have kids or simply need a place to relax. Best part, every room is ocean facing. I was in the Master Suite, and have never felt more like royalty than I did here. A beautiful wrap-around terrace was the first view point upon entering with a newly renovated living room setup attached. The king bed was elevated two stairs up and made the perfect centerpiece amongst an almost-entirely marble surface. The bathroom was insane. A HUGE jacuzzi tub and double sinks sat in a room that could have easily fit another bed. The special touches of delicious treats, soft robes, fresh flowers, and simple elegance in the decor made it seem regal. You may now call me your majesty. Just Kidding.

Don’t stay in your room though, because there is a TON to do in, and around, this resort. Take the kids kayaking or scuba diving in the coral reef, play a game of volleyball or enjoy yoga on the beach, check their schedule of events occurring every day on the resort, or do what I did and jet ski in a high-octane environment over crystal clear waters with the wind in your hair. There is entertainment every night in the hotel lobby, art classes, and if you want to venture out of the resort, you can shop local right across the street!
