There is no shortage of caffeine-bursting locations in Greenville and the surrounding areas. You may be an avid coffee drinker, or a newbie to the brew, but in this post you’ll find all the options for all the brown liquid gold you could ever want. 

Personally, I am a cafe au lait drinker. Not sure what that is, or want to refine your choice before hitting these locations? Brush up on all the different kinds of coffees before grabbing a book or meeting a friend. Might make it easier to decide which location is right for you. 

With over 40+ locations in the upstate, lets lay down a list-by-neighborhood. Starting with downtown Greenville, since that’s my favorite! 

1. Methodical coffee (Main Street, in the commons, AND in Harris Teeter.) This is one of Greenville’s iconic coffee shops, not necessarily for the location, but because we all just looove their beans. 
2. Old Europe Coffee & Desserts- 716 S main St. Known for its eclectic dessert options and casual atmosphere. 
3. Spill the Beans- 531 S main St
4. Camilla Kitchen- 130 S main St (inside M. Judson) 
5. Coffee Coffee- 307 E Washington St (inside Sum Bar) 
6. Coffee Underground- 1 E Coffee St (down the stairwell) 
7. Bex Cafe & Juice Bar- 820 S Main St is more of a foodie and healthy smoothie place to me, but still has great coffee options as well. And a little easier street parking. 
8. A20- 26 Augusta St- one of my favorite places to grab an artisanal drink and work. 
9. Carmella’s Cafe + Dessert Bar- 355 S Main St (down the stairs by the river walk.) 
10. 10.Starbucks (one on main street and one in Camperdown. Pretty generic, but hey. It makes the list of options.)

As we skirt out of main street, you’ll find easier parking options and a few more great co-working and sipping spots.

11. Inspire Coffee House- 1433 Cleveland St 

12. Bridge City Coffee (Washington street is my favorite location, but they are all over and have great seasonal and consistent options.) 

13. Cohesive Coffee- 301 Airport Rd 

14. Summer Moon is also located in multiple areas, but known for its sweet “Moon Milk” which you’ve gotta try! 

15. Modal- 813 Augusta St

16. The Kava Konnection- 1540 Wade Hampton Blvd 

17.  Mountain Goat- 120 Shaw St (waffles. Enough said.) 

18. Grateful Brew- 501 S Pleasantburg Dr (great brews in the morning, and great brews -meaning beer- in the evening.) 

19. Chestnut Coffee House + Market is located in multiple locations and carries Methodical Coffee beans.

20. Due South Coffee Roasters- 1320 Hampton Ave 

21. Unlocked Coffee Roasters- 556 Perry Ave (ask for their story. Its very cool!) 

22. The Village Grind- 1258 Pendleton St. If you are a plant lover, you must visit here. 

23. Other Lands- 731 Rutherford Rd 

24. 7 Bew located in multiple locations

25. Liquid Highway in multiple locations 

26. Daydrinkers- 2903 Old Buncombe Rd.

27. Royal Coffee Bar- 2551 N. Pleasantburg Dr. (Drive-thru) 

28. Scooters Coffee- 2027 Wade Hampton Blvd

If you’re on a morning Swamp Rabbit Trail bike ride, challenge yourself to try these four locations.

29. Leopard Forest Coffee Company- 403 N. Poinsett Hwy in Travelers Rest 

30. Tree House Cafe and Studio- 27 S Main St is a great location if you are a local artist or want to be surrounded by chaos to help the chaos in our heads make more sense. 

31. Tandem Creperie + Coffeehouse- 2 S Main St serves Crepes. And you order from the cutest little outdoor truck. Perfect breakfast spot. 

32. Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery- 205 Cedar Lane Rd- so. Much. More. Than. Coffee.

36. Roaming Ritual- an airstream food truck that makes an appearance here and there. 

37. Clutch- 3009 Wade Hampton Blvd in Taylors

39. Barista Alley in multiple locations, though my favorite one in downtown Greer. 

40. Flying Fox Coffee- 215 Trade St in Greer

41. Stomping Grounds- 208 Trade St in Greer

42. Green Laundry Lounge- 10 Moorlyn Lane in Greer- yes you can wash your clothes, but this sustainable and eco-friendly laundromat is boujii with fancy coffees to match. Get your clothes clean, get some work done, and enjoy their delicious concoctions. 

43. Scandi Tiny Coffee- 301 Simply Less Cir. In Greer. This place makes my Scandinavian heart happy.
